Price, Postel & Parma LLP

What inspired you to join this SBCA?
As a long-time SBCA member and having been involved in the construction industry (as an attorney) for 34 years, it was a good opportunity to give back.

Describe your professional background and key accomplishments relevant to your role on the board.
As a licensed attorney for 38 years, and having represented many public and private owners, a very diverse group of construction trades, design professionals, sureties, developers, and construction lenders, I enjoy putting on different educational seminars that may be helpful to our members.

What motivates you in your work within the construction industry?
The uniqueness of each case and dispute keeps me constantly learning something new, and the opportunity to make new connections and friendships is motivating.

Share a notable experience or achievement during your time on the board.

How do you see SBCA evolving in the next few years?
I envision SBCA growing in size and adapting to emerging technologies and trends, such as green buildings, solar & wind, and recycling technologies.

Outside of your professional life, what are some hobbies or interests?
My passion is the mountains and all the related activities - hiking, mountaineering, alpine and back-country skiing.
