Guide to Cal/OSHA IIPP

Next class, March 22, 2007, please see our calendar for more information.

The Guide to Cal/OSHA has been designed to provide the tools necessary for employers to establish a  workable safety program.  Our intent is to assist employers with Cal/OSHA Compliance requirements for the implementation and maintenance of four primary programs:

All employers are required to implement and maintain the following:

·          Injury and Illness Prevention Program

·          Hazard Communication Program

·          Emergency Action Plan

·          Fire Prevention Plan

Templates for the reference programs will be provided for your use.  These programs contain  elements required by Cal/OSHA.  Procedures that have been dictated may or may not apply to the structure of your business.  To be in compliance, it is essential that the programs be personalized to identify with the operations of your company.

The Santa Barbara Contractors Association offers classes for use of our book throughout the year, please keep an eye on our calendar to be involved in the next one.
